Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of theprofessionalplaybook.com, including its newsletter, its Playbook articles, IkigAI Guide, the AI Enablement program, and any combined or bundled offering of these products (together, the “Services”).

The website is operated by Leerie Tech F.Z.E., a company registered in Ajman Free Zone, United Arab Emirates. References to “The Professional Playbook,” “we,” “us” and “our” mean Leerie Tech F.Z.E. operating this property.

By accessing or using the website, creating an account, subscribing to the newsletter, or using IkigAI Guide or AI Enablement, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to them, you must not use the website or the Services.

1. Scope of these terms

These Terms of Use apply only to theprofessionalplaybook.com and the Services offered on it (Playbook articles, newsletter, IkigAI Guide, AI Enablement, and any bundle of these).

Other websites, products and services operated by or associated with Leerie Tech, including leerietech.com and aibuddies.tech, are governed by separate terms, have their own registration and consent flows, and are not covered by these Terms.

2. The Services

The website provides professional-enablement content (the Playbook), a newsletter, IkigAI Guide (an AI-based working-rhythm mentor delivered through a web-based chat application), and AI Enablement (an AI-generated roadmap of practical AI-adoption tasks for professionals and teams), including a combined Bundle covering IkigAI Guide Premium and AI Enablement together.

Some features are offered free of charge (the Playbook, the newsletter, and a limited free trial or teaser of IkigAI Guide and AI Enablement); others are paid subscriptions or one-time purchases, described further in Section 5 (Fees, billing and subscriptions).

Content and features on the website are provided for general informational and self-development purposes only.

Nothing on the website, in the newsletter, or in an IkigAI Guide or AI Enablement conversation:

• constitutes a binding offer of a specific service, outcome or result;
• guarantees that any feature, program, task suggestion or coaching relationship will be available, accepted, suitable or successful;
• creates an employment, career-advisory, therapeutic, fiduciary or other professional relationship;
• constitutes legal, financial, tax, medical, psychological, career or other professional advice; or
• replaces advice based on a review of your particular circumstances by a qualified professional.

3. Accounts and eligibility

To use IkigAI Guide, AI Enablement, or make a purchase, you must create an account with an email address and password (or sign in via another authentication method we support), and you must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction if higher.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly at contact@theprofessionalplaybook.com if you believe your account has been accessed without authorisation.

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep it up to date. We may suspend or terminate an account that we reasonably believe was created with false information, is being misused, or is being used in breach of these Terms.

4. IkigAI Guide and AI Enablement — nature of the guidance

IkigAI Guide is designed to help with day-to-day working rhythm — what to take on, what to drop, and how to work more sustainably in your current role. AI Enablement is designed to help identify practical, AI-related tasks and opportunities for your role or organisation. Both are generated by artificial intelligence based on what you share, and neither is career-direction, life-purpose, medical, psychological, legal, financial or business-consulting advice, and you should not treat either as such. If you are dealing with a mental health concern, a legal or financial decision, or another matter requiring professional expertise, please consult an appropriately qualified professional.

If you share content indicating a risk of serious harm to yourself or others, our systems and team may respond with general safety information (such as a crisis-line reference), but IkigAI Guide, AI Enablement and the website are not a substitute for emergency services, a crisis line, or professional mental-health care. If you are in crisis or believe you or someone else is in danger, please contact your local emergency services or a crisis line immediately.

AI Enablement task suggestions and any related program are informational and educational in nature unless and until a separate written agreement is entered into for a specific engagement.

5. Fees, billing and subscriptions

Some features of IkigAI Guide and AI Enablement, and the combined Bundle, require payment. Prices are shown at checkout in your local currency where available, converted from our United States Dollar list price, and the amount shown at checkout is the amount charged.

Payments are processed by our third-party payment processor, Stripe. We do not receive or store your full payment-card details — see our Privacy Policy.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. You can cancel at any time through your account; cancellation takes effect at the end of the then-current billing period, and you retain access until that date. We do not provide prorated refunds for early cancellation.

Except where required by applicable law, all fees are non-refundable once charged. As a general guideline, we typically grant a full refund for a request made within 7 days of a charge, a 50% refund for a request made between 8 and 30 days after a charge, and no refund for a request made more than 30 days after a charge. This is a guideline, not a guarantee: refunds remain at our sole discretion, and we may reach a different outcome in a particular case; doing so does not create an obligation to do so in any other case.

We may change our prices, and the features included at a given price, at any time. Changes will not affect an active billing period already paid for, and we will provide reasonable notice before a price change takes effect on your next renewal.

You are responsible for any taxes, duties or similar charges applicable to your purchase, except taxes on our net income.

6. Submissions and communications

Subscribing to the newsletter, messaging IkigAI Guide, using AI Enablement, or submitting an enquiry does not create a binding contract beyond the specific feature used, and does not require us to respond within a particular period or guarantee availability.

Unless we have entered into a separate confidentiality or non-disclosure agreement, information you share — including in IkigAI Guide or AI Enablement conversations — should not be treated as subject to a professional duty of confidentiality (such as attorney-client or therapist-client privilege). Conversation content is processed by a third-party AI provider to generate responses, and may be reviewed by automated systems and, where flagged, by our team, for safety and policy-compliance purposes. It is handled in line with our Privacy Policy.

You should not submit:

• passwords or authentication credentials for any account other than your own account on this website;
• payment-card details;
• medical or highly sensitive personal information;
• confidential source code or trade secrets;
• information you do not have authority to disclose; or
• material whose disclosure would breach a legal or contractual obligation.

By submitting information through the website, the newsletter, IkigAI Guide or AI Enablement, you permit us to receive, store and use that information to the extent reasonably necessary to provide the relevant feature, generate AI-assisted responses, operate our business, maintain appropriate records and comply with applicable law. This is a limited permission for these purposes only, and does not grant us a broader right to reproduce, exploit or otherwise use your submission beyond what's needed to provide the feature and meet our own legal and record-keeping obligations.

7. Permitted use

You may access and use the website and the Services for lawful personal or professional development purposes.

You must not:

• use the website, IkigAI Guide or AI Enablement in violation of applicable law or another person's rights;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website, servers, systems or accounts;
• interfere with the operation, availability, performance or security of the website or the Services;
• introduce viruses, malware, malicious code or harmful technology;
• conduct vulnerability scans, penetration testing or security testing without our prior written authorisation;
• use automated systems to scrape, extract, copy or systematically collect website or Playbook content without permission;
• impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity, authority or affiliation, including when using IkigAI Guide or AI Enablement;
• submit false, misleading, defamatory, unlawful or infringing content, or attempt to use the Services to generate such content;
• use the newsletter, website or the Services to send spam or unsolicited commercial communications;
• attempt to circumvent usage limits, paywalls or access controls; or
• assist another person in doing any of these things.

We may restrict, block or suspend access to the website or a specific feature where we reasonably believe these Terms have been breached or where doing so is necessary to protect the website, our users or our systems.

8. Intellectual property

The website and its contents, including Playbook articles, IkigAI Guide and AI Enablement output provided to you, design, layout, text, graphics, logos, icons, brand elements, software and other materials, are owned by or licensed to Leerie Tech and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive and non-transferable permission to access and view the website and its content, and to use AI-generated output provided to you through IkigAI Guide or AI Enablement, for your own lawful personal or internal professional use.

You may link to publicly available pages of the website, provided the link is lawful, accurate and does not imply endorsement, partnership or affiliation without our written consent.

Except where permitted by mandatory law, you must not, without prior written permission:

• copy, republish or distribute substantial parts of the website or Playbook content;
• modify or create derivative works from website content;
• use website content in another commercial product or service;
• remove proprietary notices;
• use our name, logo or branding in a way that suggests endorsement or affiliation; or
• reproduce website content for machine-learning training, commercial datasets or systematic automated extraction, other than as we knowingly and deliberately permit (for example, allowing recognised AI assistants to index Playbook content for discovery purposes).

No ownership or intellectual-property rights are transferred to you under these Terms.

9. Third-party and related websites

The website may contain links to third-party platforms and to separate websites or services operated by or associated with Leerie Tech, including leerietech.com and aibuddies.tech.

Links are provided for convenience and information. The presence of a link does not necessarily constitute an endorsement of the linked website, its content or its operator. Leerie Tech's other properties have their own terms, registrations and consents — using one does not automatically apply to another.

Your use of another website or service is governed by the terms and policies applicable to that website or service. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for third-party websites, their availability, security, content or data-handling practices.

10. Website and Service availability; changes

We may modify, update, suspend, restrict or discontinue the website, the newsletter, IkigAI Guide, AI Enablement, or any feature, in whole or in part, at any time.

IkigAI Guide and AI Enablement depend on third-party AI infrastructure that we do not control and that may be unavailable, degraded, rate-limited or changed without notice.

We do not guarantee that:

• the website or the Services will always be available;
• access will be uninterrupted or error-free;
• defects will always be corrected;
• the website or the Services will be free from viruses or harmful components; or
• any particular content, coaching response, task suggestion, or feature will remain available or current.

You are responsible for using appropriate security controls, backups and virus-protection measures when accessing internet-based services, and for exercising your own judgment about any AI-generated guidance you receive.

11. Accuracy and no warranties

We aim to provide useful and accurate content and guidance, but Playbook articles, newsletter content, and AI-generated IkigAI Guide and AI Enablement output may be incomplete, outdated, generic, or contain errors, and should not be relied on as a substitute for professional advice specific to your situation. We do not warrant that any task, suggestion or plan generated by AI Enablement will achieve a particular business outcome, cost saving, efficiency gain or other result.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the website and its contents, including IkigAI Guide and AI Enablement, are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We exclude all representations, warranties and conditions that may otherwise be implied, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, availability, non-infringement, merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or obligation that cannot lawfully be excluded.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Leerie Tech F.Z.E., its owners, officers, employees, contractors and representatives will not be liable for:

• indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive or consequential loss;
• loss of profit, revenue, opportunity, anticipated savings, goodwill or business;
• loss, corruption or unauthorised disclosure of data;
• business interruption;
• loss arising from reliance on Playbook content, newsletter content, or AI-generated output from IkigAI Guide or AI Enablement;
• loss arising from the unavailability, error, delay or change of any third-party service we rely on, including payment, hosting, database, AI-processing, email or analytics providers; or
• loss arising from unauthorised access to, or use of, your account resulting from your failure to safeguard your credentials,

in each case arising from or connected with access to, use of, inability to use or reliance on the website or the Services.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total aggregate liability arising from or relating to the website, the newsletter, IkigAI Guide, AI Enablement, or these Terms — whether arising from a single event or a series of related events — will not exceed zero (US $0).

These exclusions and limitations apply whether the claim arises in contract, tort, negligence, statutory duty or otherwise, but do not exclude or limit liability where doing so would be prohibited by applicable law, including liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, wilful misconduct, or death or personal injury caused by negligence to the extent such liability cannot legally be excluded. Where applicable law does not permit a liability cap of zero for a particular claim, our liability for that claim is limited to the smallest amount permitted by that law.

These liability provisions apply to all current and future features of the website, the newsletter, IkigAI Guide, AI Enablement and any Bundle, whether free or paid, unless we expressly agree otherwise in a separate signed agreement.

13. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to compensate Leerie Tech for reasonable losses, liabilities, damages, costs and expenses arising directly from:

• your unlawful use of the website, newsletter, IkigAI Guide or AI Enablement;
• material you submit in breach of these Terms;
• your reliance on, or use of, AI-generated output in a manner not permitted by these Terms;
• your infringement of another person's rights;
• your breach of Section 5 (Fees, billing and subscriptions); or
• your unauthorised interference with the website or its systems.

This section does not apply to the extent that a loss was caused by Leerie Tech's own breach of law, negligence or misconduct.

14. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data associated with the website, the newsletter, IkigAI Guide and AI Enablement, and forms part of the overall terms governing your use of the website.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time, including as our products, pricing and features change.

The revised Terms will be published on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the website or the Services after revised Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms to the extent permitted by law.

Changes will not retroactively alter the terms of a separately signed engagement agreement, if one exists.

16. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms and any non-contractual obligations arising from or connected with them are governed by the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates and the laws applicable in the Emirate of Ajman, without prejudice to any mandatory law that applies.

Subject to any mandatory jurisdictional requirement, the courts of Ajman, United Arab Emirates will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from or connected with these Terms or the website.

17. General provisions

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, that provision will be interpreted or limited to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in effect.

A failure or delay by Leerie Tech in enforcing a provision does not waive our right to enforce it later.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, any claim or dispute must be brought on an individual basis, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class, consolidated or representative proceeding.

You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may transfer our rights or obligations in connection with a restructuring, merger, sale of business or transfer to an affiliated entity or successor.

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Leerie Tech regarding your use of theprofessionalplaybook.com. They do not replace or modify any separate written agreement for a paid engagement, if one exists, and do not apply to Leerie Tech's other properties (leerietech.com, aibuddies.tech), which are governed by their own terms.
